Audrey stopped posting her updates on this website during her first term in Taiwan, and we’re now two people with a newsletter for us as a couple.  :)  If you would like to pray for this work and receive our monthly prayer updates via email, please click here to contact us.

At last… I’m in Taiwan!  My roommate, Angie Piau, and I are now settled in Taichung, a city in central Taiwan, where I will spend the first 6-12 months in full-time language study.  I’m antsy to move to Taipei, but I see that it’s vital for me to get deep in the language, so I’m happy to be here… [more]

If it keep on raining, the levee’s gonna break.
If it keep on raining, the levee’s gonna break.
Everybody saying this is a day only the Lord could make.
– Bob Dylan, “The Levee’s Gonna Break” from Modern Times

Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
– James 5:17-18

…….I’ve often thought that being an intercessor is like being an undercover agent in a spy movie. You seek hidden information that is critical to your mission’s success. Danger and risk are part of the job, but you are supplied with the very best equipment—what’s a spy movie without cool gadgets? Going the Distance, Going for the Goal
